He’s giving a Note To the World

He was born in South Africa to an engineer father and a model mother. You could call him a nerd, always buried in books and computers. He was never much of a social being. He was younger and weaker than other students, making him an easy target for bullies. His childhood was ‘excruciating’ to have lived through. In one incident he was thrown down a staircase and beaten afterwards, so much so that he passed out and had to be hospitalised. He sustained an injury because of which he has trouble breathing even now.

Opportunities For background

Not many know this, but he had applied for a job at Netscape, however, he did not receive any reply as he had no background in computer science. He had degrees in economics and physics from Wharton School. He even went to their office, but returned as he was too shy to talk to anyone. After this, he decided to pursue his own ideas and hence started Zip2, a web software company, providing business details, something like an online yellow pages. Had he not been shy or had Netscape given him a try, both his and Netscape’s future could have been different. Although many of you might not consider it as a low point in his life, but keep in mind that Netscape was one of the leading tech-companies at that time, and he had missed an opportunity because he was ‘shy’.

Being shy could be a cute personality trait but it can
also be a problem if its over whelming.
. If Shyness is so
strong that it keeps people from communicating clearly
people should change.

Shyness is nice but shyness can stop you from doing all the
things You want to, “that’s a quote from a song called
“Shyness” from a band called called “The Smiths”. You
should listen to it. It’s great.

Elon musk is a billionaire. He is the founder of spaceX & CEO of Tesla. He begun his journey introducing Paypal, Along with his partners. His Paypal was sold. The money which was paid to him is reinvested back into Tesla & SpaceX. He borrowed money to pay his rent of the residence he was living in. Tesla & SpaceX was not so easy to build. Musk had many sleepless nights & many hurdles & mind blowing decisions to make.

Musk founded X.com, an online-payment company which went on to become PayPal. In April 2000, Musk was made the CEO of the company. Soon after, Musk got into an argument with the then CTO over which operating system to go forward with, Windows or Unix. The disagreement eventually resulted into his ousting as CEO from PayPal, while he was on his honeymoon.

He was not a aerospace engineer. But built SpaceX. He was very much interested in books of aerospace studies. His vision for his company & commitment made him a scientist. He was not a automobile engineer & But built a world-class company Telsa. Telsa has a tremendous revolution in electric cars. Being success is aint easy.

Success = failures + hardwork

Failure With Tesla

In 2008, struggling Tesla nearly collapsed during the financial crisis. When Tesla needed cash to fund the Model S, Musk chose to bankrupt himself — giving up the money he earned from his success with PayPal (a company he sold)— rather than let it die.

He sunk his last $35 million into the company. On February 23, 2010, in a court filing, Musk admitted he was broke: “About four months ago, I ran out of cash.” The filing, part of his divorce case from his now ex-wife, Justine Musk, said he had been living off of personal loans from friends since October 2009.

Today Tesla is one of the most successful niche car companies in producing electric cars, all due to the fact that Elon Musk persevered and was determined to keep the company alive.

Failure with SpaceX

SpaceX spent 16 months trying to prove it was possible to land one of its rockets on its oceangoing recovery drone ships. The first attempt took place on January 10, 2015. It was decently successful, actually, as the company demonstrated the levels of precision control it would need to get the rocket within mere yards of landing on the ship. The key phrase there is “within mere yards.”

It wasn’t until April 28, 2016, for SpaceX to achieve the first of three consecutive successful landings on the drone-ship. The try in June for four in a row ended with the rocket in flames, however, this did not discourage Elon Musk and his crew as SpaceX. They instead took these failures and analyzed them to learn from their mistakes instead of being discouraged.

Engineer Kate Tice might as well have been speaking for Musk when she offered this take on the failure: “Important thing to keep in mind is that we did receive a lot of really good data from this[SpaceX failure].” SpaceX’s failure didn’t stop Musk from envisioning the future and “sending people to Mars by 2024”. “I think if you’re going to choose a place to die, then Mars is probably not a bad choice,” he said.

In sum, despite all failures and destroyed rockets Musk’s motivation, perseverance, and risk takings are the reason why he is still working towards his goals with high motivation, in addition to being a successful entrepreneur and a role model.

Musk’s words ….

  1. “When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor.”
  2. “If you get up in the morning and think the future is going to be better, it is a bright day. Otherwise, it’s not.”
  3. “When Henry Ford made cheap, reliable cars, people said, ‘Nah, what’s wrong with a horse?’ That was a huge bet he made, and it worked.”
  4. “Persistence is very important. You should not give up unless you are forced to give up.”
  5. “I could either watch it happen or be a part of it.”

My opinion….

Elon Musk was a man with commitment, daring & dashing. He’s adopted himself into a scientist to build SpaceX. He moulded himself into a Engineer to create a revolution in Tesla. His motive made him a scientist, creator & a great businessman. Success is a fruit which should be tasted only when it is deserved to be served. Elon Musk had many struggles that were raw & ripen , he cultivated his own life farm into a fruit life farm & he’s getting served to it. His compassion & dedication & rigid mankind is a role model to many of the youngsters including me. A man who does not accept failure. His journey to success was millions of miles far from him but he travelled every mile to conquer his journey.
